We were blessed with the arrival of William Webber Moss (Webber) on May 15th, 2011! He is perfect in every way and we have thoroughly enjoyed every minute with him!
The excitement started late Saturday night (May 14th) when my water broke around 9:30pm (just like the movies!). We checked in the hospital at 10:10pm and Webber arrived at 7:04am on Sunday, May 15th. The hospital stay exceeded my expectations as every doctor and nurse was super helpful and comforting.
Just a few photos of the little one for all to see. I will certainly post more later, we had his newborn pictures taken today!

The baby is now considered full term! The picture above was taken in our back yard a day after the storm...see below for more details.

38 Weeks - Thursday, May 5th
{19 1/2 inches from head to heel, about 6.8 pounds - about the size of a leek}
Life has been turned upside down over the past few weeks, but we are certainly among the blessed after the storm on April 27, 2011. We woke up to an EF2 tornado in Cahaba Heights around 5:45am that took many trees from our yard and caused damage to our fence and roof, but we consider ourselves fortunate considering the devastation that occurred across the state. It was an eventful and sad day across Alabama, one that we will be talking about with friends and family for many years to come. Among other things, we are also glad that Baby Moss did not come in the middle of all of the chaos! Whew!
Our cedar tree that helped to block us from Old Man Green next door. Another one will be going up soon!

View from the street....not much has changed just yet.

We regained power last week, but have no cable or internet, so this will likely be the last post before the baby's arrival! The past nine months have flown by, but with the help of sweet friends and family, it has been a wonderful experience so far. We will keep everyone posted – thank you for your thoughts and prayers!

34-36 Weeks and More!
We are moving right along, and the baby will be here before we know it! I just hope we have a name picked out before he arrives :). I'm starting to slow down a little, but I certainly have a lot left to do before he comes into the world. I started my weekly doctors appointments on Tuesday and I am just one centimeter dialiated as of now. She gave us no indication that the baby would be here early or late, so we are not anticipating his arrival until around May 18th. However, after a trip to Buy Buy Baby this weekend, we will be ready and waiting for him!
34 Weeks - Thursday, April 7th
{18 inches from head to heel, about 4 3/4 pounds - about the size of a cantaloupe}
35 Weeks - Thursday, April 14th
{over 18 inches from head to heel, about 5 1/4 pounds - about the size of a honeydew melon}
36 Weeks - Thursday, April 21st
{8 1/2 inches from head to heel, almost 6 pounds - about the size of a crenshaw melon}
Everyone wrote such sweet notes to hang on the dogwood branches!
Mom's gift was a hit at the shower! She is super talented, we are so very lucky! I can't wait to see the little man all wrapped up in his pea in the pod!

We had our baby shower earlier this month, and it was such a wonderful day. My sweet friends did an amazing job of everything, I could not have asked for anything more. It was perfect! A sneak peak of the morning...
How creative is this candy station of sweet treats...gummy bears, peppermint patties, and twizzlers...one of my favorite parts of the day. Although all of the goodies are now gone :), I think I may fill the left over baggies for the nurses and visitors at the hospital.

All of my sweet friends who were gracious enough to host the shower for us! I cannot thank you all enough for such a special day!
Lastly, I have made just a few more onesies for the little man and am working on a couple more ideas! I would love to hear your ideas for more...they are so fun to make!
We are celebrating our first anniversary on Sunday - my how the time flies! Happy Easter!

33 Weeks
33 Weeks - Thursday, March 31st
{17 inches from head to heel, about 4 pounds about the size of a pineapple}
Time is flying by and Baby Moss will be here before we know it. Less than 7 weeks to go!
Walker has been working hard in the yard, and I am so proud of everything he has done. I will post pictures of our yard soon, but here is a sneak peek from just a few weeks ago...
I have also been working hard on more onesies. They are super cute, but you will have to wait until next time to see! As always, if you have any ideas, please share!

Grateful
32 Weeks - Thursday, March 24th
{16.7 inches from head to heel, about 3.75 pounds about the size of a large jicama}
We headed to the beach for an extended weekend, and had a wonderful and relaxing trip. We watched the sunrise each morning...
enjoyed wonderful food...
and soaked in plenty of sun!
We are now 32 weeks along in the pregnancy, and I am so grateful for the beach weekend we were able to spend together one last time before Baby Moss arrives in May.

31 Weeks and Newborn Onesies
31 Weeks - Thursday, March 17th
{16 inches from head to heel, about 3.3 pounds about the size of four naval oranges}
Baby Moss has been moving A LOT lately, hopefully a sign of an active and healthy baby boy. My belly button has not popped out all the way yet, but...
Last weekend, Lala and I made a few play outfits for the baby. We thought we would start with inexpensive white onesies to see if we could make them work, and as it turns out, they were quick, easy, and rather cute!
If you have any ideas, please share! I think I may try a few more this weekend...
One last picture of the nursery with the latest addition - a beautiful blanket. I think momma will enjoy the blanket more than the baby!

30 Weeks
30 Weeks - Thursday, March 10th
{15.7 inches from head to heel, almost 3 pounds about the size of a head of cabbage}
We are 75% of the way there! Everything is still going along just as expected. I am having more and more trouble getting out of bed, not because I'm tired, but because I apparently don't have the stomach muscles to lift myself up like usual. You should see Walker pushing me out of bed in the morning, it always makes me laugh!
We are in for a treat tonight, literally! Honey just shared her coconut chess pie with us, and I can't wait to dig in....
