Pops!

These were so fun and really easy to make!  I whipped them up for a friend's baby shower, and I think they turned out perfect.  I just took a rice krispy treat, cut it in half, inserted a lollipop stick, dipped in white chocolate (Wiltons), and dipped in sprinkles.  They look great and taste great too!

May & June 2012

Wow, this Summer is flying by fast!  It is also much much warmer than I ever remember!  We have been celebrating birthdays, enjoying the beach, and trying to stay cool!

I tried to get one more picture of Webber in his birthday hat on his actual first birthday, but as you can see, it did not go over so well.  There is always next year!

We have stayed indoors for the most part, but made a quick trip to the beach in late May.  The month of May just might be my favorite time to visit the beach - it's not too hot, no jellyfish, nice breeze, and not too crowded.  Webber had fun at Innerarity with Lala and Robbie, and of course, Hershey (the chihuahua).  One of my favorite memories from the beach was Webber eating his watermelon.  He seemed to know exactly what to do, and didn't care that it was all over him when he was finished!  That's my boy!

We went from Innerarity to Sandestin for the weekend for a retreat with Walker's firm.  We did not take one single picture to prove our visit, but we certainly had a great time.  Lala, Webber and I drove down 30a one day, and I must say, it was quite fancy.  We ate wonderful seafood and had a great time playing on a "different" beach.  I hope we are lucky enough to visit again one day soon.

Walker's birthday coincided with Father's Day weekend this year, so we had a fun filled weekend of celebrating Walker!  We cooked lots of fun meals at home over the weekend, and headed out to the Botanical Gardens on Sunday afternoon for a walk with Webber.  It was my first official trip to the gardens, and I thought it was beautiful!  We certainly need to go more often, it's free!

Walker snapped a few pictures of Webber around his 13th month birthday - this series made me laugh.  It is a true depiction of how quickly his moods and facial expressions change these days!

Little man also started walking just last week.  He is quite proud of himself!  Life as we know it is quickly changing!
